CLEARANCE LARGE DAMASCUS BOWIE - 13 3/4" WITH INDIAN SAMBAR STAG and CUSTOM SHEATH

These knives were made out of the shop of N.L. Smith in Gatlinburg, TN. He has over 30 years of knife-making expertise and his 100% custom knives are in high demand all over the area. This knife is 13 3/4" overall, with an 8 7/8" blade that is 2 5/8" wide at its widest point and about 1/2" thick. The blade, finger guards and butt are made from 01 and 1095 steel, folded 384 times and heat treated to an RC hardness of 56-60. The handle is 5" of beautiful round Sambar stag that is perfect for large hands. This is a real piece of steel and it includes a very nice, custom, professionally-sewn, cowhide leather sheath with inset alligator hide. I'm asking $625, (REDUCED $600, NOW $550, NOW $500, NOW $450 OUCH!) shipping included for this knife with 3% added for Paypal fees, if needed. I have reduced the price to my cost in order to get needed cash for family expenses.

CLEARANCE 12 5/8" DAMASCUS SUB-HILT, TWO-EDGED FIGHTER KNIFE

This second knife is also made from the same steel - 01/1095 steel folded 384 times and heat treated. It is 12 5/8" overall with a 7 3/8" blade that is 1 1/4" wide at it's widest. The blade is about 1/8" thick. It has a very nice smooth bone and stone handle. The sub-hilt portion looks like some kind of quartz or agate. I'm not real sure. It looks like there are some small flaws in the stone portion, but I think these are partly defects in the natural stone. I think the finger guard and separating strip in the handle are made from stainless steel, but I'm not sure about this, either. This knife is a real piece of art and is very balanced. It includes a custom leather sheath professionally sewn with a nice patterned leather inset. I'm asking $625 (REDUCED $600, NOW $550, NOW $500, NOW $450 OUCH AGAIN!) for this knife, also, shipping included, with 3% added for PPal fees if necessary. I have reduced this knife to my cost in order to cover some necessary family expenses. Thanks for your consideration.

If you need additional pictures just contact me at rrhodes3@comcast.net. While I am new to the forum, I have been ebaying for many years and you may check my feedback there under the same username.

Thanks, Roger
