Vintage 1940's era "Pioneer" Hunting Knife
Wade & Butcher, Sheffield, England
Cutler trade marks stamped on right side
Deeply etched "Pioneer" in left side fuller
5.75 inch carbon steel blade 10.25 inch oal
Initials (MA) lightly scratched in right side fuller. Easy enough to polish out.
Handle is very tight and solid.
Knife is a good tight fit in thick leather sheath
