I was in Santa Cruz for my birthday at a redwood state park. That is a really big one eh? This tree probably has another 500 years left to live so none of us will see any of it :grumpy:

I don't know if she still is there, but my sister-in-law was the ranger/guide at that park.

I've never been out West to see the redwoods, but I've seen some mighty big pines up north. Some of which are protected as historical landmarks... apparently back in the logging heydays they left a few behind just for posterity to see. :thumbup: Doesn't quite compare, but still amazing.
