Reeder Owners!!

Just pulled the trigger on the Reeder 27 X 2. Be here in 3 weeks. Gives me time to build a bench.
What is the measurement from the bottom of the grinder base,to the top of the tool rest (somewere near center of the flat platen)? I will NOT be useing their spacer block to mount the grinder.
Still not sure if I want to use this sitting, or standing. Feedback on that is welcome.

without the spacer block, I dont believe you can tilt the grinder without cutting additional holes in the bench. Ill measure the other part in a few for you.

edit: about 8.5" from bottom of base to top of work rest in bottom slot

Ty for the number. I going to build the bench at 2 different heights. The grider portion will be higher than the left hand side of the bench. I want the left hand side lower to be able to do hand work while I am sitting down.
