As authentic as I could produce for the person who wants a period, but very usable knife.

Forged from 52100 steel heat treated in my shop to Rc 59 with three normalizing and two tempering cycldes which produces a fine grain for excellent cutting
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats to replicate a knife made from an old rusty piece of reclaimed steel
The guard is made from an old iron wagon tire etched to bring out the grain in the wrought iron
Mountain laurel handle (a traditional tool handle wood used here in the mountains)
Overall length: 113/4 inches
Blade: 6 7/8 inches
heavily oiled sheath designed to be worn under a sash or belt. Could be easily tied to a possibles bag too.

SOLD delivered to the US or Canada

If I wasn't in a little bind I would snatch that one right up. But then again, your stag bowie is still knocking socks off here in japan ;)

I will take it. PM to follow. What is the blade thickness and are there any pins to attach to the hidden tang?
