Most reenactors have strong opinions about how their equipment should look. Knives have a certain criteria that I have tried to follow: an accepted design, it must look old, bolsters and guards must be iron or pewter, the leather work must be hand sewn with a specific thread, etc.
I have not followed all the requirements but I hope the idea comes across.

Forged from 3/16 1095
Flat grind
A forced patina with mustard and gun blue
Forge marks along the spine
Poured pewter bolster
Dyed curly maple handle
Overall length: 11 1/2 inches
Blade: 7 inches
Leather (not hand sewn but heavily waxed) scabbard with a belt loop

SOLD includes mailing to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@gmail.com I will also accept USPS money orders or checks with time to clear.
