Has anyone been in recent (within the past week) contact with Mr. Weiland? I sent an auto Kestrel to him for a high polish and regrind a couple of months ago. Last communication was about a month ago. I haven't yet received updates on my knife even though the estimated turnaround time was two weeks.

UPDATE: Just received an email from him this morning.

You're not alone. I've been waiting on my custom trigger k'bit from Reese Weiland for 28 (twenty eight) weeks and counting. I pre-paid for this knife in-full, on good faith, and have reached the point where I'm beginning to think I've been ripped off.
