Some excellent references for those of you wanting to study and even reproduce some of the finest Sheffield knives ever made (both fixed and folding knives).
***SOLD***
First is the "orange book" - Joseph Rodgers & Sons Cutlers - An Antique Catalog Reprint -- this is one extremely rare and hard to find book. It is a very nice clothbound hardback, about 8 3/4" x 11 1/4", with 113 pages of very high quality knife image plates from an old Joseph Rodgers catalog -- almost all of the patterns shown have "Her Majesty" on the tangs, so the cuts are from before 1900, probably before 1890. Book is in extremely clean condition. Asking $85 for it -- USPS Priority Mail included, CONUS only, PayPal instant payment only please (fee included in price) - insurance extra if desired.
More books listed this evening.
