Got this knife recently and it had worn Cocobolo scales and some dark spots on the blade.
I gave it a new set of Red Micarta scales and cleaned the entire blade with ScotchBrite. The scales came out very good and all of the dark spots are gone from the blade. There is some cloudiness & swirling to the finish but overall it's in pretty nice shape.
It's been sharpened on the edgepro and finished off on the Sharpmaker and has a hair popping thin edge.
I fitted it with two custom sheaths. One is a Kydex neck sheath with red paracord and a thumb release the other is a combo leather & Kydex vertical belt rig with thumb release. The vertical one has some sharpie marker on the back because it started out as an experiment.
Knife is #5 of 50 & has the Reif logo on one side, Pierela on the other. Blade is just over 3.75" from the end of the scales to the tip and I believe it's BG-42 steel.
I'd probably ask about $65 for both sheaths alone if I was still taking orders.
