Completely finished cold steel trail hawk.
The head is stripped, cleaned up,sharpened and is friction fit to the handle the way it should be with no set screw. The handle has been replaced with a brand new one that was never mangled by cold steel has been sanded very smooth and stained brown. It also comes with a brown leather mask/sheath and leather over strike protection hand made by me.
$100, shipping included.
I payed $30 for the new Trailhawk. I bought a new cold steel handle for $12.
Add 25 for the leather sheath and 15 for the leather overstrike cover I made for it. That's $82 already. Add the $12 shipping and were at $94.
I also have many hours into stripping the paint off the head, cleaning it up nice and smooth with sandpaper
and steel wool and sharpening the edge. I also sanded the new handle very smooth to get rid of the splinters,
friction fit the head to the handle nice and tight without a set screw and stained it brown.
I think its a fair price for a Hawk that looks good and is ready to use out of the box.
