....... two weeks is an inside joke. While the Custom Shop is closed you are always best to email Busse direct to get the best answer as it is never as simple as yes or no. @Garth Reckner would be your best point of contact.Does Busse offer a service to refinish their blades?
Busse Custom Shop, however the books are closed...but should be back open in "two weeks" though.
Thanks so much for the shoutout, but I closed books a couple months ago just trying to get caught up on orders as I also start making my own products - not enough time in the day for it all!JoshREK Knives will also hook you up if you want to get creative. He has done some amazing stuff for the HOGs out there.
I'm actually working on your three today... Just started![]()
Well now someone has to share some of the work Josh has done!

Not on a Busse lolIf you're looking to sharpen knives, the Wicked Edge is a really easy system to use.
Too thick? Is it the height? I only have a few Busses, but I was able to sharpen the FMV8 pretty easily. I haven't tried the FMV14 or Last Rites yet.Not on a Busse lol
Yeah... It works fine (diamond stones cut it no problem) it's just that it takes FOREVER since it's so thickly ground and with such a long blade, and I don't even want to think about reprofiling lolToo thick?
