I'm building a small HT forge and have already rammed it into the form but I can't remember how long I need to leave it to cure or dry before I pull it out of the form to fire it.
The only exposed area is the front face. the form is a ~2.5 Gallon drink cooler/dispenser like a mini gatorade cooler and the center is a small fire extinguisher with a file folder wrapped around it to ease removal.
If I remember, the refractory cement will cure like normal cement so 24 - 48 hours should be long enough for it to set before pulling it out of the form, correct?
