refractory cement

I just applied a can of rutland brand refractory cement over the other layer on my forge. I followed directions to apply let it dry and add heat gradually in which I did. I noticed it started bubbling where I applied the cement. I guess where I live it is humid so, it didn't dry between the walls. Will this ugliness have any effect on heat coming from burners?. Or should I scrape the bubbles and start over and let it dry overnight to allow dryness to affect between the walls?. This is all new to me, comments and advise please. Rey:confused:

On my forge I used Satanite as a coating,so I don't know about the rutland but you should have let it air dry for 12 hours or so before starting heating, then fire up the forge for a couple of minits let it cool fire it up again a little hotter, and about the third heating take it on up to forging temp.
Hope this helps
Stan
