Howdy folks-
Managed to snap some pics today of my re-furb'd Spyderco. In a couple of the cracks you can see the white of the superglue, but I still like how it came out overall. Most importantly the handles swelled back and the tang is no longer exposed, and the cracks are well sealed.
To summarize what I did: I put CA/superglue into the cracks, let it dry, and then sanded with 600 grit and then 000 steel wool. Then I used a 'double boiler' sort of system to heat some BLO that it was soaking it, I let it soak in the BLO for about a week (only at the raised temp shortly at the beginning). Then I let it dry, and rubbed on a few coats of clear paste wax with a sponge, to seal in the oil.

And some fatwood I found, hehe...
Oh, last second addition: Do not discuss any of the other issues with the Spyderco bushcrafter in this thread (i.e. breakages, value, etc.). I don't care. If it's talk about what you did to refurb yours, etc., that's great.
