Spyderco Techno Copper Patina Anodized Titanium Scales
I did change out the spacer for the standoffs shown. They turned out awesome! Soon I'll be making a titanium backspacer for the techno :)

Lots of green I know. Green is the most difficult color to achieve when anodizing so I'm trying to show off the range :)

Hey everyone. Just wanted to do a quick write up of a recent purchase from Gburgs. I recently purchased the Quartermaster Spicoli that he has pictured above. While this knife and the company that makes it is a very controversial one, I wanted to focus on the craftsmanship that went into the finish of this knife. The pictures that Gburgs has are amazing to say the least but those pictures show just one of the many shades that the knife can have. Depending on the lighting, there can be various shades. I've seen the bright aqua/greenish look as shown in the pictures above to a bronze or charcoal grey. The finish is done all over the titanium handles with some of the grooves on the bottom of the handles, inside the lanyard holes and the inside of the lock bar having a bright green color. All of the edges on the handles have a worn look that shows a kind of gold/bronze/copper color. If you look very close, it looks almost like the handles are really copper and the copper is trying to show through the oxidization. This obviously isn't your normal straight anodized prime color you see on some knives. I'm a sucker for copper so when this knife went up for sale, I didn't think twice to grab it. I guess you could say it was a gamble to buy this knife but I'm very happy with it. I currently have a Leatherman Charge tti being sent to Gburgs for work that I'm pretty excited about so keep an eye out for that. I've included some pics and while they aren't as good of pics that Gburgs posted, they show the knife in a more natural environment with different lighting. Hope this gives everyone a better idea of what this particular finish can be like. Thanks again Gburgs and keep up the great work.

Unfortunately I can't do much with plated knives and don't know anyone to recommend. Sorry
