I have had 2 knives(non CRK) I shipped show cracks on delivery. One was sent back to the original owner days after my buying(no use by me). I have wondered if temperature change could create or bring out (not visable) cracks.Hard to say if there were any impact during shipping or while at CRK. Nothing visible on the blade. Looks perfect to my eye.
The shipping very well could have had nothing to do with the crack but when you mentioned shipping the instances came to mind. They were the only 2 I have had with cracked blades, and there was no notice of the crack before shipping.Interesting thought. Not sure, I would think it would take some extreme temp changes to cause something like that. That is a pretty thin area on the blade so who knows. In any case it F*#!ing sucks. Haha
Not sure how much is left but let’s hope there is enough for a very long time.Happy to hear they are still supporting these knives! I am hoping to get ahold of a specific Regular in the future and definitely will want it to be supported/serviced by CRK for decades to come!
