its a post count...the number changes each time you post...you currently have 35...next time the server resets and you have posted your number will go up..
 
Ren, Thanks and I understand that but even all the links given for other posts by the OP said 13 as well - back in 2004, etc. Every post by OP has/had 13. ???? I must be missing something.

Uhhh, er, umm... nevermind I think I get it now. I was thinking each post carried it's own seperate # that "locked" with that post. Okay, I'm slow but I'll get there before the party's over.
