Reggae Rules!!!!!

UB40 is a great group for white reggae guys, im not usually that fond of them. But UB40 is great. So is the Killer Bees they're also another good white group.

For Bob marley I have the ablums Babylon by bus, legend, exodus, kaya, and rebal music, which ablum do you think I should get next?

Whos you all time fav Reggae artist?

I haven't been keeping up with the latest reggae bands, but the mere mention of ska does bring me back to the Two-Tone bands like The Specials, The Beat, and The Selecter. I like ska, but I was always more in tune with the mod era of 60's R&B, Motown and British mod bands like The Who, The Kinks, The Small Faces and The Action. So, where are all the skinheads, suedeheads, mods and Rude Boys hiding these days? I know the Mod scene is still kicking in the UK, but what about in North America? Any 60's revivalists still out there?

I guess all those punks and all those teds, the national front and natty dreads, mods, rockers, hippies and skinheads did keep fighting till they were all dead..

Do the dog.

I grew up on bluegrass, oldies and jazz, so those are near and dear to me, but I've acquired a love for the blues, my favorite style is Delta, just a working man playing the blues after a hard days work. Check out www.fatpossum.com, they showcase what kind of music I like. My two favorite types of music are the blues and bluegrass, but I grew up on alt rock also. I saw that someone posted their love of reggae, I've got a few Best Of... cds and Bob Marley Legend, but my love lies with the blues and bluegrass. Favorite rock bands: Soundgarden, Offspring, U2, Jimmy Eat World, the Police. Favorite blues artists Muddy Waters, RL Burnsides, Junior Kimbrough, Stevie Ray Vaugh and Double Trouble and Jimi Hendrix's blues. Bluegrass, well, how about everybody on the O' Brother Where art Thou? soundtrack, the Foggy Mountain Boys, Flatt and Scruggs. I'm delving deeper into the blues and bluegrass, anybody got any suggestions for me? :D

LOL! I knew it would only be a matter of time before someone quoted the song. :D National Front Boneheads, Rockers and Hippies should be dead. Oh, let's not leave out the Teds. ;)

If you like blues, don't forget the classics like Howlin' Wolf, Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley. Blues was essential to the early British mod scene and spawned acts like The Yardbirds, The Animals and The Spencer Davis Group. Awesome bands!
