not sure if this is right forum. New here still. I have a microtech that I just bought when I was in Vegas. Came home and went online to register the knife and can not find anywhere on their entire website about how to register. Bought knife from PVK which according to microtech website is the only authorized dealer in Nevada. Talked my father in law into buying one also. Now he’s freaking out bc he can’t register it. Thx in advance
 
I tried downloading the app. The app owner hasn’t updated their software recently and it won’t work with ios11 until they do. Even had a buddy with a Samsung try it. Same result
Emailed microtech this morning. If they don’t respond by Monday I’ll give them a call thx for your help though. Much appreciated
 
You no longer have to register to avail yourself of their Limited Lifetime Warranty. If you have an issue, go to their website, fill out the form and they will provide you with an RMA number, with instructions on how to send it in. I recommend going to their site. Look on home page, on the top right is the heading “Support,” drop down the menu and click on Warranty. No worries. Make sure you follow their “rules” for keeping your warranty valid. Read their FAQ(also under Support).
 
Thx man I appreciate the info. I saw on the site how to get rma form. And as far as warranty..... I’d never attempt taking that joker apart, even if I did have the “special” tool needed to do so. Lol
It was pretty much an impulse buy. I was in Vegas had cash in my pocket and it called to me. It’s a little big for edc imo. Thx again for your help. Much appreciated
 
WE both bought a sigil. At 15% discount since we both bought one. They had a Marfionne mini matrix cf that I fell in love with. But they wouldn’t give me any discount at all on it!! And I was able to buy mine and father in laws for less than the one so..... guess I was in a generous mood at the time( FIL had lost his ass at blackjack tables) now I really wish I’d have gotten the Marfionne. Lol
 
The registration system was abandoned a while back and new boxes don't have the scan code anymore. The warranty follows the knife so don't worry about that; no registration is needed.

as I understand it the warranty originally was to the original purchaser who registered, and as of recently it now follows the knife due to abandonment of the registry.
