Having idea from that thread:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=456767
I tryed to reground Delica, I do not think that its blade geometry mutch excellence of ZDP-189 steel. I thought that regrinding may damage HT but as I saw in that thread it is possible. I just hold it in my hand and stop grinding if it came too hot, cooling it down with my hands also. It took me a whyle - you need patience for this kind of things. But in resilt I have convex kind of grind and edge much thiner than it was. I manage not to touch original edge (only near tip I mess it up a bit) so I still have original sharpness and very smooth cut.
Regrounded Delica ZDP & original ground (limited blue Delica actually has bit thiner edge then regular green one)
I use Grizzly belt grinder which cost same as Delica. It was 330 belt which wear out an turned at the end into good polishing belt - I use it for polishing same blade.
Thanks, Vassili.
