I was bored earlier today so I switched the blades between my large sebbies and created a monster:eek:

Anyone else try this? I think it looks kind of cool...

Interesting!
It looks almost more natural.
I don't know if it's just me, but the first picture gives me the vibe of a bird.
The blade looks beak or claw like and then the ridges of the lock bar complement the feel.

Perhaps I'm feelin' a bit too creative. haha

To verify my sanity, my girlfriend says it looks like a Pelican. :D

"Chris Reeve Pelican" seems to be a fitting name, maybe they could do a limited run on these:p

Glad I'm not alone on this one! haha

Is it odd that this exact set up is more appealing to me than the original Regular blade profile?

When I view this I get the "This just looks right" vibe.
That last pic of the Seb closed just looks so streamline.

That is just the way it should have been IMO, I just can't warm up to to the classic/21 handle.

The Insingo blade definitely looks at home with the Regular Sebenza.

Was your Regular Sebbie a Dual Thumbstud?

Yep, dual thumbstuds, I switched the blades back again today to make them whole again but the combo here worked surprisingly well and it's nice to know I have the option to mix
them out when I please.

I like the look, I did the same thing kinda had a Micarta/Insingo just to see if it would work.
