Regular or Insingo?

You guys are making me think about a small Insingo....damn you. :wink:
 
I got the regular, claiming one is more useful than another is pure speculation which will vary between user.

The reason I chose the regular was the sexy classic CRK blade shape. To me the instigo is nothing more than its ugly cousin that will never see the inside of my pants!
 
The more I think about it the more I think you should get a plain 21 as your first crk. Honestly it wasnt till i got my first sebenza that i even started to like the insingo.
 
I helped my friend ripping off old carpets at his new house with small Insingo today. I cut the heck out it, and did quick sharpening afterwards with Spyderco sharpmaker, and it's back to hair popping sharp in no time. Maintaining the edge on Insingo is super easy. If you use your blade a lot through out the day, Insingo is really great for easy maintenance and extremely versatile applications.
 
In the Small, the insingo shape makes more sense because it extends the reach of the blade. I tried both, and was unhappy with the plain blade shape because I felt like it didn't have enough reach.
 
Well, it seems like those who prefer the regular prefer it based on looks, and those who prefer the Insingo prefer it based on performance. Considering I also like the way the Insingo looks, it's an easy choice for me.
