Regular sebenza question

I think the OP is asking for the measurement from the top of the blade to the edge along the green line (in this very crude pic)....

Anyone have a micrometer that they could take this measurement? Even with the hand sharpening I'm guessing new ones would be close.

Correct!

Yes, that's what I thought as well. Maybe not the best position to measure at, though, so close to the choil. Seen lots of knives (not CRKs) go off the grind a bit that far back. As I have only two LR's, I can't say what the consistency may be. (High degree of consistency expected, of course!)

Sorry, don't have any pics. But I suspect that those who own a lot of knives from different manufacturers may have seen the grind go a bit "off" close to the choil.

I finally purchased a somewhat inexpensive micrometer and took a pic of my Large Regular (polished blade) that appears to have not been used much if at all. It may have been sharpened but I don't know for sure. I took a couple pics of the measurement of interest in this thread. I know it an old thread but this is always the place I look when checking out older Sebenzas as I think its the best tell of how much it has been sharpened. But I know it doesn't show how much "belly" have been removed from the blade. So here they are. This is a 2007 Large Regular with a polished blade. The blue on the thumbstud doesn't show a lot of wear. So I think this is a fairly good example of a Large that hasn't been sharpened much (maybe not at all). I'd be interested in this measurement from someone with a bnib Large Regular that they know for sure has never been sharpened. Mine measured 1.099" at this reference point. I have another Large Regular "user" from 2002 and it measured 1.094".
