Folks really don't need to take these knives apart any where as much as folks do.

This. Especially since most look like they have never been used in the first place.
Honestly, stuff like this is why I nearly always pass on pre-owned Sebenzas, unless I'm buying from a dealer with a no-questions-asked return policy.

It's a tough and well built knife, that gets used as the tool it is.
Mine will NEVER be sold-It was a gift from my kids.

I'd just send it in for repair. Something's not right so let CRK deal with it.
Stuff like people modifying, with hand tools and by-guess-and-by-golly, the fit of parts that were originally finished and fitted to very close tolerances at the factory.

If all fails you can always send it back to CRKGuys...the knife is fixed and being used. There is no guess work going on as jnewell indicated...if something is too tight and you sand off a tiny amount that is more called common sense. Saved me close to $100 on shipping as well(international shipping)
