Up again for another look. Can't believe this one hasn't sold yet.
Up for grabs is a rehandled Scrap Yard SS4 in INFI. The knife was used one time prior to rehandling and I did not drill any holes in the tang or do anything to void the warranty. This handle is solid and should last though a lifetime of use but I would not recommend heavy batonning or throwing. If the handle is ever broken and it was during normal use I will replace it. Sorry for the indoor at night pics. The knife looks much better in person.
The knife was given a two tone satin finish with a 65A belt and a scotchbrite belt. The Logo was very lightly acid etched in. The finish is a factory level satin on the grind and has infi dimples on the flats. The edge was convexed and given a mirror finish. It was handled with a very fine block of claro walnut burl from Burlsource and canvas micarta. The pins are canvas and the lanyard tube is 304 stainless. The wood is finished to 1500 grit and sealed with linseed oil and buffed with white compound. The handle was bonded with G flex and is very strong.
Only flaw on the knife is the butt where the pieces of micarta meet. The junction is not perfect but it is filled with epoxy and is solid as can be.
Looking for $250 shipped. Im losing ALOT of money on this one.
