Rehandling Cold Steel Master Hunter

Hey folks...have a Cold Steel Master Hunter and am interested in getting it rehandled in micarta...A) how much would this run, and B) who would I see for this? Can anyone recommend one of the custom guys here or something? Thanks.

I would suggest posting in the knife makers forum or maybe the maintenance tinkering and embellishment forum asking for people to PM you if they want to help.

I think that that would be fairly in depth as that is a hidden tang knife I believe. Replacing an injection molded handle with scales or any machined handle will be a bit of a pain.

As EricV stated this could be tricky and labor intensive. I wouldn't really be able to say without actually looking at it. It would probably be better to leave it as is and have me or another maker make you a knife exactly like you want.

It can certainly be done. The Master Hunter is a very straightforward design. I suspect you would want a metal guard? Email incoming.
