I bought this tent a few years ago at an REI Garage sale. It had not been used. The first owner pulled one of the pole holding tabs off and returned it. I made a tab (with the proper nylon and grommet) and sewed it in place - seam sealing the spot liberally - and have not had an issue with the repair (see below). It has been an excellent tent and perhaps only has seen a dozen pitches - all on level ground (no rocks).
I have stored it loosely in my climate controlled garage on a cedar shelf. It has been babied.
The tent gets great reviews and is an awesome backpacking tent.
Tent bag and Footprint bag (The footprint easily fits into the tent bag).
Footprint alone.
Poles (no bends or issues).
Stakes, Guy Lines, and expedient repair tube all in good repair and all there.
One of the cool things about this tent is that it can be pitched with only the Fly and the Footprint - leaving you an ultralight way to travel and pitch. The pics above show it in that configuration.
