I`m going to bring back the ViKtim for a limited time! http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ves-Torture-Test-Passaround!?highlight=ViKtim

Specs:

9 1/2" overall length
5" blade
1/8" O1 tool steel

$210 + $8 shipping in any handle material shown on my website
http://www.jkhandmadeknives.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=3360945

Not only is the ViKtim tough, it is also an all around outdoors knife which will work great as a skinner or general purpose camp knife, not too big, and not too small.

Deliveries will start in July, order yours soon!

Cripes. I wish I could afford one. I beat the living crud outta this knife and it laughed at my puny efforts. One of these with a flat grind would be an excellent tool for life.

You just made it harder ... I thought I KNEW what my next order would be already ... but that does look like a great all around design ... I may have to rethink awhile before deciding which way to go next ... ummm thanks??? ... lol

I always try to help.;)

ha, happens a lot around here.

hell again Viktim, my old nemesis *shakes fist in elaborate manner*

I'd recommend for everyone to order one of these if you can - it's a great opportunity to get an incredible all-around knife, not too big, not too small, and tough enough to handle almost any task. Check out the passaround comments. I'm lucky to have Viktim #1 in walnut and Viktim #9 in tiger stripe maple . . .I've added a couple of photos of my two ViKtims shown with an EDC Kephart and an EWOK. Enjoy!

I've just ordered a third Viktim in Osage Orange!

I do have a limited supply of Osage.;)

Then I guess I better relieve you of a portion of your burden by ordering a Viktim with Osage Orange scales and brass hardware - I'll email you with the other details (black liner or not, lanyard hole or not) when I decide in the next day or two (or should I PM?)
Cheers!

How does a viKtim with Snakewood and rounded spine sound?

Just like it looks!

I was able to baton viKtim #10 through this cupcake with no edge damage at all

Truly a hard use blade.

Poor cupcake, it's been ViKtimized!

Added a couple photos and my recommendation to all to my earlier post - Thanks again to John who just took my order for an Osage Orange Viktim, brass hardware and lanyard hole, no liner, no jimping, and (thanks to mqqn) rounded spine. I'll post photos when it arrives later this summer. Again, get one while you can!

You must really like this design to have two of them and a third on order!

RE: You must really like this design to have two of them and a third on order!

I do, I do! Actually, it's just as much about having the right knives in the right number to hand down one of each to my grandsons, hence three ViKtims, three JK Kepharts, three Alox Farmer SAKs . . . or at least that's my excuse!

I am a bad influence, Sir! ;^)

I think of everyone here more as co-dependent (mqqn, do I remember you once making a comment about how a ViKtim would look in a mountain man style sheath? check out the photos on my earlier post)

I know what you mean Mr. Anderson.

I have two sons. Ages 2 years and 4 months, and im already purchasing knives with them in mind! (Or at least that's my excuse!) :p

Hard to believe only two of these were ordered. This is the knife that legends are made of, and stories are told around the campfire about! :D
