Comparing the old ViKtims (#1 in Walnut and #9 in Tiger Maple in the photos below) with my recently acquired reintroduced Viktim (Osage Orange), I noticed several differences between them - this is NOT a complaint or criticism, just an observation - I know handmade knives are individual one-of-a kind products that naturally uniquely vary one to another.

That being said, I'm just wondering if the ViKtim is evolving into the ViKtim II with:
(1) a more pointed, less bullnosed drop point blade
(2) less dip and rise in the spine
(3) less width/depth in the scales (and, yes, I individually hand-smoothed/shaped all three after I received them to fit my hand)

Which do I prefer? I love all three, the older ViKtims for their beefier, slightly Green Riverish frontier skinner look, the reintroduced ViKtim for its gracefully pointed profile and slightly more elegant feel. I strongly recommend either to anyone who's looking for a great do-it-all handmade blade. Thanks again, John!

I think it has more to do with only having a cardboard pattern to trace around. I never got around to making one out of wood, never was enough volume for this model.

Looks like a cool skinner, sort of a classic butcher look to it.
