How does the weight compare between those two? I think the 2.5 that I have might be the lightest fixed blade I've ever handled. Here's a companion / comparison shot of the Ember 3.0 next to the neck knife from the late Darrel Ralph, (S90V), which I have been wearing for the last several years...two awesome knives which make a great tandem. One smooth, one chunky.

Darrel's knife comes in at 2 1/8 oz.How does the weight compare between those two? I think the 2.5 that I have might be the lightest fixed blade I've ever handled.
What's the weight on the Ember 2.5?
My 2.5" "Rounder" from Jerry Halfrich with stag scales splits the difference at 2 3/8 oz. Jerry sent it with a beautiful sheath from Paul Long, and a terrible kydex sheath of his own making.![]()

Thanks, brother. Jerry's been a good friend for many years. Essentially retired now...but he could sure build a fine knife...mostly single blade traditionals and straight knives. He was never really into multi-blades for the most part. This is such a nice little blade, E!
Beautiful!!What's the weight on the Ember 2.5?
