It’s funny you say that! My last PT session the lady was telling me to loosen and rotate my hips and pretend I am using a hula hoop lol. She was showing me and rotating her hips like Shakira and giggling

Here is the prototype so far!! A couple of sharp corners will be slightly rounded.
These will have the option of a belt loop dangler, so it will sit lower off your hip.

The width at the widest part is 3 3/8” so relatively thin for the Q.
The welt is double saddle stitched with a wide stitch and a narrow stitch.
Wet forming turned out great! The Q is secure in the sheath but easy to remove and resheath.

It was next to impossible to source Wickett and Craig leather here in Canada, but I found a wonderful leather solution.

All three of these attachments will fit on this Q sheath. (DCC, Mummert or large Tekloc) At this point, with the tariffs, I don’t have any aftermarket clips available.

It does look like one of the screws though is a tiny bit off and out of line vs. the other 5 J/K!

Ok…I’ve got my regular belt loop dialed in. The drop loop will be ready tomorrow. It will be an attachment to the regular belt loop.
This entire sheath is modular and you will be able to purchase each piece separately, depending on how you want to carry it.

I will start another thread with the options and price, hopefully tomorrow late afternoon.

I believe I will add another hole to the “regular loop” in order to bring it down closer to the top of the sheath to use with the dangler. Options are always good.

Well, guys. The REK Q modular sheath is finally ready for pre-order!!

The pricing on this sheath will vary a bit, because I’ve had a few folks ask for “special” accents and whatnot. I have the base price for the “run” version in this thread. All prices include shipping to Canada and the USA.

The Q sheath is a full veg tan and wet formed sheath. It will come with the hardware to attach clips/belt loop. The Q sheath is fully modular, so all attachments will fit the base sheath. The hole spacing allows for DCC clips, Mummert clips, large Tek-Loks, and Ulti Clips. You can attach clips on...
