REKAT Hobbit Fang conversion

I have a REKAT Hobbit Fang that I love, and have been carrying regularly for the past month. The only issue I have with it is the blade shape, which is fine for routine cutting tasks, but it does not have what I would consider to be a serviceable point. I'm thinking about regrinding it into something approaching a wharncliffe, but I hate to hack up a knife that is no longer in production. Any thoughts/recommendations?

The other option I was considering was converting it to a reverse tanto, which would be considerably less work.

if it was me, and the knife was still in LNIB shape (or close to it) i would leave it as is and buy what i wanted vs modding the rekat.

if it has some wear on it most of the collector value is gone anyway imho.

Well, the epoxy has some very light wear just from going in and out of the sheath, but no scratches, and the edge is in perfect condition. I need to find another knife with a similar blade angle and handle.

Unless you've got that collector itch and need it on the shelf, go ahead and use it, that's what it was made for. if using it means modding it, that's great, too.

Coincidentally, I have one on the way I just bought. :)
