YESSS time for some FUNNY again! Just put a deposit down on a Begg Steelcraft Mini Bodega, aka my dream EDC knife, so I gotta let a few go to pay for the other 17/18ths of it. As a result, let me begin with this:

NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES!!!

As always, my prices include priority shipping for FREE, as well as all PayPal fees (you pay as goods with no markup). If you buy, you are agreeing that you are over 18, that the knife you want is legal where you live, and that like me, you believe that the only things holding Peyton Manning together at this point are congealed IcyHot and prayers. You're gonna get NEWTONED, old man! Finally, I can sell to whoever I want, because I'm a unique and delicate snowflake whose whims should be catered to at all times. Eyebrow raised and looking at YOU, millennials!

BOKER MINI KWAIKEN (Extremely light user, VG-10 satin blade, titanium scales): Ah, the venerable Boker Kwaiken...I've owned two versions now, and they're just wonderful minimalist pieces. Almost Apple-esque in the way they deliver a polished version of what you need, and nothing more, but in a way that never leaves you pining for more. No ancillary curves or swedges or screws...simply the distilled essence of a gentleman's folder.

But I'm too much of an anal, nebbishy scratchophobe to use this thing like it should be used! It's the satin finish...so beautiful, but sooooo delicate, like a sculpture made out of fish flakes and doughnut glaze! I know a lot of you don't care about wear and scratches, even appreciating it when there's enough to call it "patina." Not only does that sound like some kind of Spanish fruit dip, but it's also Latin for, "Craig's not interested." No sir; make mine stonewashed from here on out, so I can use it at work without concern.

So once again, my inability to tolerate even the smallest expression of the inevitability of entropy upon one of my toys results in your gain! The flipping action is terrific; adding jimping to the tab was the one change they needed to make, and they did. It feels wonderful in the hand too...smooth and just weighty enough to feel solid. You should know, though, that it isn't particularly sharp; Boker is kind of hit and miss with their factory edges, so while this is serviceable, it won't be whittling hairs as-is.

Still, it's in exceptional condition (and should be, since I bought it a month ago and carried it like 4 times), and in a rare occurrence for me, I still have the box! Usually I rip my new knives from their containers like a hyperactive kid on Christmas morning, flinging the box behind a large appliance or something. At that moment I'm like, THIS CARCASS IS USELESS. I mean, you don't keep old egg shells, do you? Almost always comes back to bite me though...but not this time!

This little fella sells for $123 new, but you can have this one for $105SOLDSOLDSOLD!!!. At that price, you can get this and still afford to buy some strawberries and patina!

RIKE 1507s (Light user, S35VN blade, titanium handles): You may not be familiar with Rike; they're pretty much where Reate was two years ago, making insanely high quality knives at moderate prices, but not yet having broken through to the mainstream. All that means is that we, the consumer, get to enjoy great product at lower-than-market rates until they do.

I can't say enough about this knife...it is exceptional in every way. It's milled and detailed and built like a work of art. I was so impressed with it that I wrote about it at length here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1355773-Rike-1507s-Kwaiken-Review

So read that to get a more in-depth report if you like; I'll keep things brief here. The bottom line is that this is a knife which would sell for $500 if it was designed by some big name and made by Reate, so to get it for almost half that is just wonderful. Who do these guys like Todd Begg think they are anyway, asking $445 for a knife they didn't build? *inserts $445 into envelope, licks flap, affixes stamp*

The only things worth mentioning are the teeny scratches I put on the blade during one of my ham-fisted attempts to sharpen it on a stone. They're hard to see in anything but the right light, but they're there, and I tried to show them in the pics. Also, she could use a sharpening, but let's be honest...you're a sharpening master. You don't trust anyone else's edges, and you rework them as soon as you get them, because no one does it like you, super guy.

Though it retails for $285 new, you only hafta give me $200SOLDSOLDSOLD!!! to get this gorgeous piece in your hands! Be careful, though...it will absolutely stoke your desire for higher end knives and ruin your finances! DON'T BECOME A MONSTER LIKE MEEEEEEEE!

$15 ADD ON!
Still have a LNIB (minus the box, of course...*sigh*) Kershaw Nura 3.5 left over from my last sale thread, so if you'd like it, I'll sell it to you for 15 measly bucks with the purchase of any other piece. It's like an appetizer knife!

--------------------

Offers will be considered, but given my prices and what's included, they'd better be amazing for me to reply or even be interested. The first person to claim these with those three magic words AND follow up with a PM or email (craigforhire AT gmail DOT iloveyoutoddbegg) takes precedent. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure half the reason you put things up for sale is so you get to write funny descriptions

You're not wrong, Jukes! Enjoy having a creative out now and then. Boker is now SOLDSOLDSOLD!!! Who's ready to get down with this amazing Rike now? I'll do it and the Nura for $225!

Craig, you should build a compilation thread. "Deep Thoughts on Knives with Craig."

Hmmmmm, where would I even post that? Maybe somewhere in W&C or even the cove. Anyhow, did I mention that if these sell today I will mail them out TODAAAAAAYYY???
