Reliable Sturdy Knife? For Working/Camping

Hmm..I'm not sure what they mean by that. Maybe its just a general warning that they take no responsibility with seizures by customs or they restrict the quantity you can buy. Have you tried going through with the order? Probably give them an email if your concerned

So Curkz, I am assuming that, since you are ignoring the advice of actual electricians, you really just want a knife for the beach and not to for cutting drywall while doing electrical work as you said in your first post?

Enjoy the knives. The ones you are considering are nice blades. But do not use them to cut drywall.
 
Can someone help me on actually getting these knives. Cabela's arent replying to my email and i am still wondering why the product is Restricted ><
 
yeh i have but i am still wondering why its classed as Restricted for :S Doesnt make sense to me
 
Can someone please help me find a store that will ship the Buck alaskan folding knife and the buck 110 Fixed Camping Knife. Cabela's wont ship it to me i also need a store that accepts paypal :) Help!
 
I don't get what you are looking for. You want to cut drywall and turn screws with it? You also want it to stay sharp after cutting drywall so you can use it as a camping knife?

It sounds like you need a decent knife and a few hand tools. I suggest a screw driver and a drywall saw and a decent inexpensive pocket knife. No reason for a newbie to spend $200 on a knife. Look at something like the Kershaw "Needs Work" or the Spyderco "Centofante 4". Both of these have a great blade shape for work.

Drywall is hard stuff and will mess up even the best knives. Just use a utility knife. Any other type of knife will be a pain in the @ss when it gets dull in the middle of a job, a utility knife you can just swap the blade.
 
as i said above I AM NO LONGER GETTING A WORK KNIFE. I am getting a camping knife and fold out knife
