Awesome work Stuart. I can't see a darn thing that I don't like about it. The profile is fantastic. The hamon -- as usual -- is awesome. Your fittings are perfect for the look of the knife, as is that aged oak. I think you nailed this one. :thumbup:
I'm looking forward to see what you come up with for a sheath.

Thanks so much again guys. This one was a puzzler as I was working on it and did many drawings of the handle. Once I got going on it though, the direction became quite clear and from the sounds of it, was the right direction.

I appreciate all the comments. I have the sheath pretty much sorted in my mind so now to see if I can recreate it real life.. :p
 
I don't see the seax but I really like this piece, it turned out great. Congrats on a job well done.
 
That handle is perfection! Ive tried to get oak to look like that without much luck. That is probably the coolest looking knife I have ever seen, its my new wallpaper!

Everything about this one is just beautiful and expertly done Stuart,and the sheath just elevates it a notch higher!

Stuart, incredible work! I have been looking at this knife since you posted it and couldn't figure out what was bugging me (in a good way). I think it is the fact that it appears to be a "relic" but with very crisp/precise lines giving it a more modern look; very nice!
