Taken out of tube, opened and closed for pictures and appreciation. Never carried, cut, or sharpened (came surprisingly sharp from GEC.) Very sturdy snap (6/10), half-stop, and lockup; nice fat hefty stag handle. I did wax the stag for protection. In the spirit of full disclosure, there is a insignificant, shallow flaw in the stag near the upper center pin on the mark side which I have stabilized/sealed with epoxy (as indicated.) Comes with tube, wax paper, COA, I'll add a leather lanyard.

Is the pull on the liner lock 23's a little easier than the standard ones? I'd love to get my hands on one of these but from what I've heard I'm not sure my nails can handle one.

This is one of the new (2012) productions and the pull is very manageable. I know exactly what you mean--with some of the older 23, especially the 2-blade trappers, you had to have either pliers or a steel thumbnail.
