Up for another look. Can't believe this knife hasn't sold yet!
Up for grabs is a custom nessie in CPM 10V at full hardness (64-65) with a stabilized curly Koa handle.
The knife is a collaboration between me and custom make Big Chris. We worked together on the design and he ground the blade and I did the handle. I wanted the ultimate blend of performance and beauty. It turned out AWESOME. The knife looks great and is really comfortable. The figure and curl of the Koa is dynamite. The handle has a nice middle palm swell.
If you have never used 10V it is without a doubt the king of super steels. It has incredible edge holding, and hardness while also being very tough. 10V has similar toughness to D2. This steel cuts like a hack saw. Ive never used a steel that cuts like 10V.
The very top of the grind at the spine in two places is rough and there is a little bit of roughness ( spot not finished as well) on the ricasso. Ive had a couple 10V knives and this is pretty normal. 10V is a bear to grind and finish and is almost always left with a rougher finish than lower wear resistance steels.
Looking for 379 NOW $339 shipped for this sick blade.
