Are my prices that far off? A discontinued Ritter and a set of custom scales for $240 shipped seems pretty good to me! Ritters were $125 new for the most recent versions, and the scales were $100 shipped. Throw in the rare nature of an S30V BK model, and I would have figured this would be gone by now!
I don’t think your prices are that far off. But I bought the same knife without custom scales a few months back for $150. And the scales lose probably 30% the second you buy them. Bottom line is anytime you customize a production knife, you almost never get back what you put into it.
As far as the rarity of it.....people who want the black blade, want the M4 version. Not many wanted the S30V when it was being produced.
I’d relist it in the $200 range. Hope this helps.
