Hi Blade Forums,
Moving some fixed blades that aren’t getting any use.
Sorry about the crappy pics.
Prices are inclusive of fees / shipping through PayPal ( I heavily prefer Zelle or possibly a postal MO these days though ).
I will try to get some knives mailed within 1 to 3 days of sale at most. Working overnight shifts this week. If I can , I’ll get to post office next day.
I’ll start with the top knife in pics and work downward.
SOLD Siegle Camp knife 5160 steel. Asking $300.00
I’m the original owner. Knife has seen no use outside the house. I have stropped the edge, it’s very sharp. This one will make a great wood splitter. The blade is heavy, should chop pretty well with the mid height saber grind, carves decently too. G10 scales, well fitted kydex sheath, and a nice tempering line that can be seen in person. Beast of a knife. .25 stock.
SOLD Bradford Guardian 4.5 3V. Asking $160.00
I’m original owner. Knife has been stropped, nothing more. This one is like a razor. Black micarta, full flat grind, stonewashed finish. Comes with factory sheath ( which in my opinion should be replaced ASAP if you plan to carry a knife this sharp). Includes box and all paperwork.
SOLD Bradford Guardian 5.5 3V. Asking $170.00
I’m original owner. Knife has been stropped, cut some paper. This one is extremely sharp. Black PVD coated 3V blade, full flat grind, black micarta scales. Comes with factory leather, please replace the sheath ASAP - they ( Bradford leather ) don’t feel very safe. The knife itself is excellent. I might pull this one if there is no interest. Comes with box, paperwork etc.
Wenger Blades Spartan 475 in 80CRV2 Asking $375.00 > $360.00
This is a NICE one, rare. 5/32 stock of compound ground razor sharp craftsmanship. Burlap micarta over burgundy/red liners. The tip is flat convex, the main cutting edge is hallow/flat, the spine has a nice v grind to it. This is a mean little defensive/utility blade. Comes with makers kydex, COA and business card. Has been stropped and carried a few times, no real use. The caswell finish is aging nicely.
Battle horse Buckeye 01 steel asking $215.00 > $200.00
5/32 stock, saber grind, matte green micarta, leather sheath ( lefty sheath though). I’m original owner. Knife has been used for light chores and in the kitchen. The blade is starting to patina nicely. The edge has been touched up on fine diamond plates, not re profiled though. Very sharp spine, should throw sparks / scrape well. Comes with box, COA and makers card.
SOLD Winkler knives Pick 80CRV2 asking $100.00
Not much to say. This is a sharp piece of last ditch defense. Pick has a nice grind, lots of sharp, unsharpened angles, reinforced tip, kydex sheath with spring clip and leather handle wrap. Put holes in things or save your folder tip and pry with this. No box.
SOLD Strider Mk1 - series 1 ( not mod 10 , but full size ). Paul Boss S30V asking $450.00
This is the biggest Strider I’ve ever owned. Was my grail knife late 90’s. I recently found this, used, I guess owned by a former service member. The knife is dirty, could use a spa, or just beat it up like it should be. Double edge, top edge isn’t very sharp. No chips, could use a sharpening though. The handle needs to be re wrapped , I tried and failed then lost interest. The sheath is original eagle brand, high quality. The tiger stripes have faded.
This knife smelled like a surplus store basement when I got it. Imagine old canvas tents that had been smoked in, soaked in the rain and put away wet - unpacked 4 years later .. that’s the smell.
This is why I unwrapped the handle and threw away the old paracord. I washed the sheath a few times.. it’s still got a scent though. Seems weirdly appropriate for this knife to smell. It’s a huge, ugly, sharp piece of really well heat treated steel. Beat on it.
M Strider WP XXL Asking $450.00
I’m second owner. I bought it unused. The guy I bought this from told me it was S7 steel ,I cannot prove this, I highly doubt it’s S7. Given the time period this blade was made -late 2020 to early or mid 2021 , I’m guessing it’s PSF27, CPM154 or CTS XHP. I emailed Strider Knives inquiring about the steel: “ The WP XXL’s we’re made from whatever we had laying around the shop” ( 3V ? CPM154 ? CTS XHP ? PSF27? ). This is a mean knife with the dub belly - it will slash, cut and put holes in things well. Kydex sheath is perfect on this one. Might pull this one if no interest. Looks to be about .20 stock, perfect grinds on this one as well.
M Strider SLCC Nightmare grind Custom CPM154 asking $475.00 > $445.00
I’m the second owner, bought unused. This one was hand ground by M Strider. Nightmare grind is scalpel sharp on the hallow, razor sharp on the flat. This one has been in / out of the sheath a dozen times, left some kydex rub on the flats. I added a static cord and some 550 to the handle. .20 stock. Really nice example of a SLCC , this one can actually cut as well. Knife is extremely sharp.
