Questions were asked so I figured to also post in this thread as some of you might wonder as well,

It has a tapered tang

The knife is resting above the carved out base of foam it will rest in when it ships so it will be snug as a bug in a rug ;)

Can I assume you aren't interested in trades? I have a couple small Arno Bernards, either of which I would trade on this. This is a nice old knife.

Gary, any shrinkage to the stag?

Will a thumbnail catch dragging it across the handle spine?

From 1990's to now, you can just barely feel the transition, it is minimal and most places very smooth. When gripping the handle to cut, you really do not notice any shrinkage to speak of.
