relisting in new thread...
I did the same thing I did last year, I REALLY don't know why I keep doing it, I told one friend that it must be my magnetic personality that draws these knives to me
In any event, I've spent more than I should, ended up with this beauty, very similar to the one I bought last year at Ashokan! Here are some spec's of the knife, Mint in a padded case;
Handle is nicely shaped Cocobolo with a swell in the middle are and a sloping downward towards the butt, the bolster is a very cool piece of mokume which is now starting to patina even nicer than the images below.
The blade is Tim's Damascus made of O1 and L6 mixture, at the spine it's just a smidgen uner 2mm thick so this is one slicing blade, very very sharp.
Blade is about 3 1/4" long
Handle is about 4 3/8" long
There isn't a sheath with it, I was intending to make one but haven't been home long enough to do so and still won't be able to as my job continues to keep me on the road.
Price shipped in the USA is $450
payment US Postal Money Order
Here are a few images of the knife;
Thanks for checking,
G2
