Trade interests:
- Cold Steel fixed blades with Secure-ex sheaths
- Double-edged (and single-edged!) knives with Kydex or equivalent sheaths
- Traditional folders with wharncliffe, sheepsfoot, or clip point profiles with centered blades and no wobble
Aside from those very specific ones, I also like:
- Wharncliffe /sheepsfoot folders!
- NIB / LNIB plain-edged folders in good steels!
- Weird, unique, and discontinued stuff!
- Cash! Don't be afraid to offer cash to make up a value difference! Money = knives, and knives = knives, so both work!
Trade not-interests:
- Fixed blades with blades over 5, non-kydex or equivalent sheaths
- Knucks, tops, other man-toys
- Flashlights, watches, things other than knives
- Custom knives that have a value considerably higher than the material worth (I don't want a $400 440C knife, regardless of who made it)
- Lots of budget knives. Example: Five $30 folders is not an offer I would entertain for a $150 knife.

Budget Bundle! Nieto Climber, Rough Rider Dog Bone Jack and Improved Muskrat in smooth tobacco bone - $SOLD
All three have seen light carry and use, but no sharpening. All three are mechanically sound, but the Dog Bone Jack has some rub (common in that model). Tight construction and minimal to nonexistent wobble between all three. All have factory edges that are still very sharp.
Great Eastern Cutlery 771114EC Bladeforums 2014 Stag Jack - $SOLD
Full album HERE
Absolutely incredible stag, slightly off-center, tight construction, great walk and talk and pull, no wobble, slight spotting near long pull and on blade spine from storage, great half-stop. Comes with original tube and wax paper. The stag is just the right thickness. It has just the right cuts in it, the whites make me think of fine ivory
Great Eastern Cutlery 773115 Old Red Sawcut Sheepsfoot - $SOLD
Full album HERE
Brand new in original tube with a #77 button, dead centered, some light spotting from storage, tight construction, slightly stiff pull but not a nailbreaker, no wobble, great half-stop.
Great Eastern Cutlery 770115 Old Red Sawcut Wharncliffe - $SOLD
Full album HERE
Brand new in original tube with a #77 button, dead centered, some light spotting from storage, tight construction, slightly stiff pull but not a nailbreaker, no wobble, great half-stop.
Great Eastern Cutlery 2007 NKCA youth knife - $SOLD
Full album HERE
Picked this up for a song off the exchange so I could try this style of folder in a non-locking setup. Not really my style, as it turns out! Like new in tube with some spotting on the spine from storage, with a well-centered blade, no wiggle, nice snap and pull, and gorgeous smooth bone covers. Comes with a tube and wax paper!
Great Eastern Cutlery 470116 Hemlock Jig Bone Northfield Viper - $SOLD
Full album HERE
Thought this might be a good fit for my roommate, but hes broke and loses things so hed probably be better off with a Rough Rider. Brand new in tube, slightly off-center, great walk and talk and snap, very minor side wiggle if you force it (you can feel it more than you can see it), very rich red hemlock with great jigging.
Great Eastern Cutlery 651115 Ben Hogan Tortoiseshell Acrylic Northfield - $SOLD
Full album HERE
Absolutely gorgeous, solid, tightly-built knife with a wonderful pull and snap. Its a little too lanky for my tastes, much like the Makos I parted with a while back. I had to give this a shot, though, and that polished blade is incredibly handsome. Comes with tube and wax paper, uncarried and unused!
Case Saddlehorn TB61110 in Kentucky Bluegrass and Case Saddlehorn TB61110 in Dark Red JIgged Bone - $BOTH SOLD
Full album HERE (red) and HERE (green)
Both of these knives have pretty much identical characteristics, so Ill lump them together here. Theyre both ridiculously great looking, with high-polished blades that have a few hairline marks (potentially from use, potentially from factory), factory edges, and a little spotting here and there from storage. Both are a dream to operate and have minimal-to-arguably-no wiggle which is a real rarity with Case knives in my experience. No boxes or accessories, just the knives!
