Remember your first Spyderco? Here's mine...

1st- Endura. Best tool purchase I ever made.

2nd- Delica
3rd- Wegner Jr.
4th- Calypso Jr. Micarta
5th- Next...something more substantial, any suggestions?

Nope, prolly no suggestions in here

A full sized Calypso would go good with that junior you already have. No finer looking set in the line. I have the plainedge Jr and serrated Sr, Makes a great left/right pocket team. And capable cutters.

My second choice recommendation would be the Starmate in plainedge.

A delica was not only my first Spyderco but my first introduction to the wonderful world of knives.

I went to the NY Show late 80's or early 90's
and purchased the Terzoula w/alum handle. Used it 'til it self destructed. I also have
a Goddard which is fully serrated, micarta,
w/o signature which I guess is a first run proto, Ser #110.I haven't used this one.

My first was a plain edge CoPilot.

What "a lot of knife" in such a small package! I was hooked for life.

My first was a worker back in the early 80's. It has handle slabs of 2 different thickness, plainedge and three screws on the clip. Used the heck out of it and decided to retire it as new models came out. I bought the knife from a local dealer who stocked the full line of Spydercos at the time - 5 or six models total. Had them in a small wooden display rack with blue background. And at the time they seemed like the oddest looking thing I had ever seen. Man have I been hooked ever since....

My first Spyderco is a plain edge Copilot. It is unique in that it has brass liners, i have never seen another Spyderco with brass liners.

mine was an old style rescue bought about a year and a bit ago one sale. that was my first, still use it some, but for daily carry, it has been replaced with two other spydercos.

I still have my first Spyderco - an original Endura, bought in 1990, if I remember correctly. It now belongs to my wife, who carries it everywhere.

I'm with Dalerich here. An early Copilot, bought whothehellrememberswhen, brass liners, still a sentimental favorite. Didn't feel I needed another Spydee until the micarta Calypso Jr's came out, then the carbon Dragonfly, then an orange handled Rescue Jr. Who knows when it will stop now?

I have just recently been introduced to Spyderco. At Christmas, I got a serrated Endura and a grey Matriarch. Merry Christmas to me!

I like my Endura so much that I just ordered a plain edge Rookie to add to the collection. The Endura has become my favorite knife as well as my daily carry.

My First was a Delica. There have been many Delicas since then. I've actually managed to break two. (I love 'em, cause they stand up to all the misuse and abuse I put them through.) But mostly it is because I sell them to my friends at greatly reduced prices, because I believe everyone should carry one of these. I've managed to get a number of them hooked, and two of them have even taken up the practice of spreading them around.

I've tried Enduras twice, but they just don't fit, and they don't do anything for me that the Delicas don't.

Mine is easy to remember since it was just last month. It's a tie. Got a Delica II and a Calypso Jr. Liked them so much, I got a used Hunter and have a Military in the mail. Do you think I need help? After all the talk around here, I may have to have a Wegner and a CoPilot. I know I am due to win the lottery anyday. LOL
