Remington 1178 Baby Bullet. This one was made by Camillus in 1991.
I bought it about 6 months ago. I carried it for awhile, but it has only cut some paper.
The knife has very nice looking Stagalon scales and is 3 9/16 inches closed.
Almost all of these knives have at least one crack in the scales, and this one has a small tight crack, at one of the upper pins. Its not going anywhere.
Both blades are tight with no side to side movement when open, and they have very positive half stops. Springs are firm, I would guesstimate a 7 on the 1-10 scale... No gaps between the springs and scales. The box and paperwork are correct to this knife. I have been told that some of these are Carbon Steel blades, and also told they were 440. I'm not sure. Its a great looking, well made knife, that will serve someone well for many years.
$36.00 TYD in the CONUS ONLY... SOLD
Next up is an early Schrade Uncle Henry 285 trapper. These are hard to find. This one has a Schrade, over N.Y U.S.A, 285UH tang stamp. The spey blade has UH on the tang.
This is one of the good ones with the 1095 Carbon steel blades... Blades have no side to side movement when open. As you can tell, it has been carried and used, but is still a very solid knife, with lots of life left in it. No chips or cracks in the scales...
$32.00 TYD in the CONUS ONLY... SOLD
* PLEASE NOTE : I drive truck and usually leave for work around noon, and don't normally get back home until midnight or later, so it may take me a little while to respond *
Thanks for looking...
