iquid nitro treatment to a final hardness after all tempers was 59-60 which is all you need to get a real sharp blade an easy to sharpen if you have the right diamond sharpeners an maybe some middle an hard Arkansas stones. The length closed is 4" an open it is 8 1/8". the wood is a gorgeous Burl with a Remington Bullet shield inlayed with two pins. I hand sanded these blades to 1000 grit finnish an the bolsters to just 2500 on this one. The inside is hand sanded to 6000 grit an shiny to the look. Opening pull hardness is medium around 3 to 4 1/2 maybe with 3 flush positions. I put a bronze -aluminum bushing in all my knives if the tang is big enough to put one in it. this knife comes with a letter of Authenticity an Black Leather zip pouch.
