Remington?

From releasing a handful of knives in 2006, to releasing many thousands every year employing 30 people, in a town that needed jobs, it's been a steady growth!!!
Survived the pandemic, and it is now 17 years!! Bill has trained a lot of cutlery people, because there is no apprenticeship program in the USA!! He deserves a medal!!
That in itself makes me like gec even more.bill sounds like a stand up guy.

Old hunter I'm eating moose lasagna right now, can trade for red fish.
When I visited Alaska, I was already fatigued from eating Reindeer and Salmon by day two.

I was like, "y'all got any pork up here or what?"

🤣

They didn't cook the caribou right then. You need a good gravy and a slow cooker.but it doesn't hold a candle to moose.

It was mostly sausage. They kept trying to force "Reindeer sausage" on me. I kept thinking "Well, I've seen plenty of moose walking around, but not a reindeer in sight. Something's up." 🤔

After day two, I think I lived mostly off of chicken-fried steak (from honest-to-god cows) - when I could find it. 🤣

I guess it's true what they say: You can take a boy outta the south, but...

the caribou sausage probably had pork in it,caribou is very lean.alot of people mix pork in their caribou sausage. But not always. But I like it best with a gravy and slow cooker.

All the venison sausage I’ve ever had processed has pork fat added to it. You don‘t use venison fat, gives the meat a bad flavor. OH

I just found my new latest toy, utube on the TV.so I got to watching some knife videos and a gentleman had a cc harness jack.he said he was bladeforums member jprime.so naturally I check him out here and find he has disappeared for the last bit.he seemed like a knowledgeable dude.

OK this is to funny,I now am watching a video about the harness jack and it dropped my jaw.there has been alot of chatter in various forum readings and the name Charlie compagna(not sure if I got that right.)kept being bandied about with respect.i honestly thought he was from another time and had since passed.nope and no he is the one and only wayworth.now if you went through all the pages of show me your traditional or your peanut, and who still carries a case you have seen some really catchy traditional from charlie.but at no time is Charlie and waynorth put in the same sentence, until I watched this video this Sunday morning.and even better he is a fellow country men.shows how new I am to the joy of traditional knives.but to be honest I might be single if I found out about these gems years ago.

You betcha, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, and Redfish last couple of days. We’ll wet a line if you want. OH
Very kind!! I'm not sure whether my fishin' days are over, but just the idea of it is delightful!!
My son-in-law Allen used to take me out, off Vancouver, for Salmon!! I have enjoyed quite a few fresh caught Sockeye in my time, but I never will forget my biggest Coho!!
I thought I had caught a refrigerator!! This huge silver-white thing leapt out of the water, and blocked a good part of the sun!!!😲 Allen had good gear aboard, and we landed it!! Provided a year's worth of smoked Salmon!!

When I lived on the sunshine coast we had salmon for breakfast lunch and dinner, hard times made tasty and nutritional.
Interesting place to live!! Beautiful!!
My first meal when visiting there was Oysters fresh , on the beach; with a squeeze of lemon and a dab of Frank's Red Hot!!

I believe that is referred to as being "a legend in his own time."

It is one of the most beautiful places in the world.not just being from the bush of Northern Canada, but having traveled south and over seas more than once.

you have to go to the hot springs in nelson bc,favorite hot springs after the moose jaw hot springs.

What, man there's only so many times a man can feel like a fool in one week.if I didn't have a volunteer obligation this evening I would bang my head.between figuring out paypal and american ordering I've felt a little bonkers.heck I just spent 2 hours researching Camillus scout knives only to have the seller tell me they decided not to ship to canada.all after going through paypal.

Thanks birdspeak I thought it said international members will have a different shipping cost.but it was not updated as far I could find.mind you I never checked or knew about that thread until i received a notice and was told had until 2moro.i checked and saw the whiskey jigged bone and quickly sent my money.i should of read up a bit more but waisted my afternoon on a Camillus scout knife that ended In disappointment. But pressure was on lol, with it expiring shortly.and I learned to empty my mail box so all is not lost.now I have to see if I canceled properly.
