Taken weeks now to get no answers from Remington about a knife warranty issue.
An R-4 Utility knife with super weak mainspring...
20 to 25 years old and they first wanted me to send it too Bear and Son for repair and
now want me to BLINDLY send it off to their NC facility so they can LOOK at it ... scratch their heads some more
on what to do ???
we all know Camillus made it
and are now gone under ...
Remington has a LIFETIME WARRANTY on this knife
and are trying very hard to have me just go away.
Left a voice mail this morning with some knife dept gal who never got back to me
... asked in like 6 emails for a phone number of someone that KNOWS what is what
at Remington.

one of their first questions is ... IS IT MADE IN THE USA ?
they have a seperate department for the cheap imports with their name on it.
The WARRANTY that came with the knife is with REMINGTON and not with whatever
firm made the cutlery for them.
