Hi, we bought an old dresser and found an old remington 2 bladed pocket
knife. There is no number on it but the blade says Remington UMC made in
USA.
I can't seem to find out anything about this knife. Where would I find out
about it? What kind of knife is this? How old is this knife? What's it
worth? Can you help?
If you go to this address I have a picture. http://homepages.msn.com/HobbyCt/lhoude/r-nife.jpg

It is hard to tell with out holding it, but it looks like the R605 A Gold Swirl Pyremite. Or Jack knife With Gold Swirl plastic handles.

Your knife was made between 1920 and 1940 and if this is the knife. In mint it would be worth $150.00. Used as it is $50.00 to $75.00.

Remington knives are one of the most sought after knives in the world. I have owner a few and a few of their Switchblades.

Do not store the knife in an oil rag. As the oil will ruin the handles.
