That's the one I want. Nice looking knife.

I did a set of handles and a sheath for a clear coat 1095 version, and it was Very thin BTE for a factory knife (around .020".-025", iirc). A nice little pocketable slicer. Good for trout, pan fish, EDC and other tasks where a small blade will be a welcomed addition.

All the clear coats had that color.

I dunno, it seems a lot darker than just a clear coat.

Yea it's also on pretty thick at least on mine it is . The clear must have yellowed right away

The logo is different. It's that watermark stuff kabar has been doing on the bk39 not the black ones on mine.

The logo appears to be white under the thick transparent coat called clear

They were clear coat 1095 before they were black. The black is very recent.

No I didn't. I've got like 3 or 4 in 1095. I didn't even hear our see anything about them making them in black now. I'm gonna need to get a few in black now too.

The bk29 comes with a sweet necker in s35vn, longer by a pinky ring, but made getting a remora seem pointless since I don't use the bk9,7, or 5 sheaths
