I have a Spyderco Gayle Bradley that's seen a lot of use and the blade is pretty heavily stained. It had a nice patina already, but there are several very dark, almost-black stains that I haven't been able to polish out by hand with 1200grit - 2000grit wet/dry. It doesn't affect the function of the blade, so I don't really care if it's permanent, but I wouldn't mind cleaning it up a bit if anyone had some advice.

I have a Dremel, bench grinder and various wheels/pastes, but I haven't given them a try yet. Thought I'd ask before I broke out the power tools...

Nevermind...some green Scotchbrite pads cleaned it right up. Guess the sandpaper just didn't have enough bite to get the job done.
